Test reports

We didn’t just test DRUFF on tiles – we tested it on people too. To be precise, the independent testing institute Dermatest in Münster tested our concentrates for skin compatibility under the supervision of medical specialists. The result: the skin was more relaxed than any cleaning day.

The results at a glance

Product Test Date Result
DRUFF All-Purpose Cleaner Sandalwood (standard concentrate) Open epicutaneous test, 30 test subjects with healthy skin, product undiluted 17/07/2020 “very good”
DRUFF All-Purpose Cleaner Neutral Freshness (standard concentrate) Dermatological test on humans, study number 2002185972 16/03/2020 “very good”

What was tested?

In the open epicutaneous test, the product is applied undiluted – in other words, at full strength – to the healthy skin on the inside of the forearm. A specialist in dermatology and allergology examines the area after 20, 30 and 60 minutes. The test group includes women and men aged 19 to 71 with dry, oily, normal and sensitive skin.

The result for Sandalwood: None of the 30 test subjects showed any skin changes at all. Neither product caused any toxic-irritative intolerance reactions. That’s why they may be described as “dermatologically tested”.

So what does that mean for you?

  • You can handle DRUFF without your hands getting offended straight away.
  • If you have very sensitive skin or clean for hours on end, feel free to wear gloves anyway. We’re not your dermatologist, after all.
  • The tests apply to the standard concentrates listed above. All safety information is on the respective label.
