Withdrawal policy and model withdrawal form

As a consumer you have the following right of withdrawal for orders in our online shop. A consumer is anyone who orders for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business or profession. Swiss law does not provide a statutory right of withdrawal for online purchases; we voluntarily grant this right of withdrawal on the same terms to consumers resident in Switzerland as well.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party designated by you, other than the carrier, takes possession of the last goods. In the case of a contract for the regular delivery of goods over a fixed period of time, the withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party designated by you, other than the carrier, takes possession of the first goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Selwie GmbH, Aachstrasse 2, 9326 Horn, Switzerland, email: info@selwie.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but this is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us (return address for consumers resident in Switzerland: Selwie GmbH, Aachstrasse 2, 9326 Horn, Switzerland; for consumers resident in the European Union: DRUFF / Selwie GmbH, Brückenstrasse 19, 52351 Düren, Germany) without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.

You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Early expiry of the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal expires prematurely in the case of contracts for the supply of sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons, if their seal has been removed after delivery.

The right of withdrawal expires prematurely in the case of contracts for the supply of goods if, after delivery, they have been inseparably mixed with other items due to their nature.

You can also declare your withdrawal directly online via our page “Withdraw from contract”. We will confirm receipt without delay by email.

Notes on returns

Return addresses: from Switzerland to Selwie GmbH, Aachstrasse 2, 9326 Horn, Switzerland; from the EU to DRUFF / Selwie GmbH, Brückenstrasse 19, 52351 Düren, Germany.

To ensure your return arrives safely, please pack the goods in the original packaging with all accessories where possible, using protective outer packaging if necessary. Please send parcels with sufficient postage and not freight collect. These requests are not a condition for a valid withdrawal.
